2024’s CMN Miracle Child is…

Children’s Miracle Network at AHN Saint Vincent is thrilled to announce this year’s Miracle Child – Everly Brown.

Meet Everly:
At 24 weeks, Derek and Carlie welcomed twins Everly and Jameson. They were born weighing 2lb. 7oz. and 2lb. 4oz. Due to complications from Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, Jameson went into cardiac arrest and passed away at 2 days old. Everly remained on oxygen in the neonatal intensive care unit. She had bradycardia episodes, bowel issues, Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA), and a feeding tube for the first two months of her life.

At 3 months old, Everly was strong enough to head home weighing 7lbs! Because of her prematurity, she has had several procedures including a surgery to close her PDA, tubes in her ears, and a hernia repair. Everly doesn’t let asthma slow her down. Derek and Carlie
say “she is a healthy 5-year-old kindergartner. She is spunky and full of sass. She is our little miracle!”

Thank you to Everly, and her family, for sharing her story with the CMN Community. Lastly, Thank you to Aubrey Faith, and her family, for their incredible time spent with CMN during 2023 as the Miracle Family.
